Dear reader, it is with delight and a great deal of relish that I announce to you the relaunch of The Sikh Spectrum, which is now under my editorship and the directorial oversight of a number of distinguished figures in the Sikh community, some of whose writings you will have the opportunity to enjoy in our brand-new issue.

Speaking of which, we have just published our new issue for June 2012. Highlights include an editorial by yours truly which stand in defense of a free press and a free people in questioning “Is There a Rising Fascism,” an in-depth analysis by the eminent Dr. G. B. Singh of the shortcomings of the Indian Constitution called “Bill of Rights in the Constitution of India,” and an article by Dr. Amrik Singh about the oddity of the current U.S. president being awarded the Nobel Peace Prize entitled “President Obama and the Drones of Satyagraha.”

We invite your letters, your submissions, and most of all, your readership.

Please stay tuned for our July 30, 2012 issue.
